Orders are printed and programmed within 2–4 business days, then shipped via Australia Post express. Most metro areas receive their plates in 1–2 business days after dispatch. Regional and remote areas may take a little longer.
Yes — every Dockt Plate is custom-designed to your brand. After ordering, you'll share your logo and any design preferences. Our team handles the artwork and sends you a proof before we print.
Smart Setup means your plates are connected to your Dockt dashboard. You can update the destination URL, track taps, and manage everything in real-time — no need to reprint. Traditional Setup programs a fixed URL directly into the NFC chip. It's simpler and doesn't require a subscription, but to change the destination you'll need new plates.
With Smart Setup, yes — update your destination link any time from the dashboard and all your plates update instantly. With Traditional Setup, the URL is fixed in the chip and cannot be changed without reprinting.
The plates themselves don't need power or WiFi — they're passive NFC tags. The tap works as long as a guest has a smartphone with NFC (all modern iPhones and Android phones). Your venue's internet is only needed for your Dockt dashboard, not for the plates to function.
NFC works on most phones made after 2018. If a guest's phone doesn't support NFC (rare) or has it disabled, the QR code printed on every plate provides a reliable fallback — they can scan it with their camera app instead. If you're experiencing technical issues beyond that, contact us and we'll investigate immediately.
No minimum. You can order a single plate if you want to test it first. The Starter Pack (4 plates) is our most popular entry point for venues with multiple tables, and the Super Bundle is great for larger operations or multi-venue groups.
